He was 2-3 seconds behind Moussa (14:43,14:45) and closed in a 4:33.
If he is anywhere near the front at 800m he could win the whole thing, yet I haven't seem him at any rankings or individual previews.

I don't know about NXN. My suspicion is that he will get swamped - just not enough experience running with the big boys.
That said, his closing 600m at the CA state meet was astonishing and suggests a ton of not-quite-tapped potential. Where is this kid going to college next year? (or is he?)
His kick at CIF was a monster, but he will be killed if he tries that at Portland Meadows. The place is a bog.
Seriously, how is no one putting him into contention? His kick is almost as fierce as Gedyon's, yet I do not see anyone talking about him. His pr's are not anything out of this world from what I've seen (2:00 800 and 9:32 3200, but a 4:12 for the 1600), but I believe his full potential has yet to be utilized. He's really rounding into form this year.
You left the 'n' out of your last name. Why? It should go in between the 'i' and 'e'.
This kid also surprised in track, grabbing 2nd in the CA state meet behind Gedyon with his ferocious kick. He will bw a threay IF he can hang.
Geydon bombed at NXN while Ryan again proved the rankings wrong with his strong 7th place.
He will end up in good college program, one of the top 10 in the nation left undecided.
Wait till you see what he does in track, he is just learning how to race up to his potential.
