Any track meets you recommend where club athletes can race and not have meet directors be dicks?

In my experience, nearly every collegiate and open meet is a meet where club athletes can race and the meet director is not a dick.
Most Collegiate Coaches will allow some, maybe many, unattached or Club athletes in their meets. If they don't, it's not neccesarily because they're being a dick, remember, the first priority is to the athletes on their team, as well as the teams attending. Many coaches (especially in DI) hate it when their athletes have to sit thru 56 heats of the 200 and watch all of these unattached athletes at a Collegiate meet.

I've never had a problem running in any college track meet that I've wanted in. All the meet directors have always been nice.
Maybe it's something to do with you?
upstate holiday classic in rochester, ny...december 30th. you're welcome.

What part of the country? Most college meet directors are pretty cool. They're even nicer to you if you're actually good and are willing to pay an entry fee.
Most of the bigger schools post entry info online. Do some research first and you'll be more likely to have a positive response.
Certainly the Greater Boston Track Club invitational on the Harvard track in Boston on Jan 23 will welcome you. The meet director is not a dick but a Dave.

Here is why meet directors are rude sometimes to club/unattached athletes.
The vast majority of unattached/club athletes always want to be in the best heat but aren't ready to race in it. They want the ego boost but didn't put in the work to be ready.
The vast majority say they are coming,...but then don't show up. If you did put them in the top section/heat, there is now a gaping hole (or two) that pisses the hell out of a D1 coach that has athletes that were dying to get into the hot race. And the vast majority of the time, they didn't pre-pay an entry fee.
There are enough unattached/club athletes in the country to have their own meets...why don't they rent a facility and put on their own? Ingrates.
Can u tell my distaste for truly unattached/club athletes? I swear I don't really feel this way about unattached/club athletes that get into college meets because they still train and travel with a college team or "legit" clubs that actually train & travel together. They are the exceptions to my opinions above.
