Two:
I have kept a log of narratives, training....for about 10 years. It is the exact same as the blog, only in Microsoft word format. My original log was actually kept on a Brother Word Processor on a floppy disc. The point is, I don't care what people think when I write. In college I e-mailed my log to a few people every week and those people always told me they truly enjoyed reading what I wrote and often times got a chuckle out of it. That it was a break from their day to read it. At the end of college more and more people were asking me to e-mail my log to them and I did. Then I took a year off of running, no log, no nothing. One day I ran the New Haven 20k and then I didn't run for a year. When I began my comeback a few months ago I was introduced to this google site so I wouldn't have to make 10 e-mail attachments each week (yes I don't know how to send an e-mail to more than one person simultaneously). It was just easy to give my friends the blog address and if they read they read, if not, then not.
One of my teammates (two days into this challenge) decided to put this on lets run. He messaged me that he did and I just laughed and now, well, I guess it blew up. I love running so there have been many questions and comments that I feel obliged to answer so I have been keeping track. It was never my intention to share this with the public, it was a friendly bar bet that was going to stay amongst friends.
