Euro – Thanks for all the great info. I feel kind of silly because for some reason my brain was switched off the other day when I read “upright rows”. I actually incorporate those in my regular weight training. For good measure, though, I have added bent over dumbbell rows for additional balance to the push ups.
Good advice on the treadmill sprints. That is how I’m going to have to incorporate hill sprints. Due to my schedule and my lack of quick proximity to a steep hill when I do my training, hill sprints outside are a little impractical for me.

Mon – AM included core work, push ups and a 30 min run
PM included a 60 min run
Tue – AM included squats and lunges and a 30 min run
PM included core work, weights and a 60 min run
Wed – AM was a 30 min run
PM included push ups, core work and a 60 min run
This AM I did weights and 25+ minute run
