Looking at the splits, did she fade or did the others just run her down? She hit 10:08/20:11, so had 10:08.4, 10:03.7 for her splits, so if the measurement is correct it just accelerated in the second half.

Speaking of tanking, what's up with Kim Ruck from Clemson? Would have expected her to be fighting for top 5, but she finished back in 19th? Is she saving up for regionals to guarantee an individual qualifying spot or is her season over?
Schaaf moved into the lead from the gun and led the first 2 miles or so. As she turned to go up Bearcage you could tell the other runners were closing fast. It was not a surprise she was 3rd/4th coming to the last 400 meters.
