So just when did the "low-mileage" trend start? I was a frosh in 89-90 and worthington was doing low-mileage at that point. Did it start due to Kennedy's success the previous years before? I know other central ohioans Hughes and J.J. were definitely held back in the belief that they would benefit more on down the road. When did this transition occur in the worthington schools?
The only documentation I have is a training log from my senior year track while training for the 3200. Everything prescribed by the coaching staff.

our easy days (when we weren't on the track) consisted of 4-5 miles w/4x150 accelerations. What caused this vastly different training philosophy? Is Kennedy to blame:)j/k.
