It was probably warm and not a day for great times, but it was not hot. I train at sunset and night and will be lucky to get a day that is under 80's. Sometimes I have to run in 90 to 100 degree weather at night. When I lived in Dallas, it was 100 degree summers and 20 degree winters, so everything is possible.
Runners need to learn how to run in all conditions that a race can bring. Be ready for anything. Don't strain yourself but get used to anything. Stop complaining and run your best in what ever condition you get.
Davila is getting there and Hartmann is far from top male elites in the US. He did good for himself.
