Why on the competitors numbers were the women's first names but the men's last names? You call children and servants by their first names.
I think you just answered your own question

I love a good high-brow knock knock joke.
I wonder if you (assuming you are a male) can even break 4:30
Glad to see G.A there. Tough girl.
Man, I guess the internet feed was slightly out of sync. I had everyone about two seconds faster than listed, and had Webb at roughly 3:51.1
Thought I heard the announcers say Laalou was 3:50.x as well...

Genius. You are a genius fish on the trolly. Well done.
John Trautmann ran 4:33 in the 40-44 age group. Glad to see guys like John continue to come out and compete regardless of their current fitness level (which is still pretty darn good!)
Lalou wasn't even tired at the end. Obviously doping. Webb and the rest of the OTC '09-'10 wonderboys, on the other hand, are running off pure recently found white talent.
Who won the Master men and lady miles today?
Brenda Martinez Alamosa CO?

wow that makes that huling guy look even more pathetic. only 2:02 pace he made that weak surge and was swallowed up in 100 meters.
Huh? He's not a 1500 specialist and knew the pace was slow, so trying to keep it honest made a lot more sense than waiting and getting outkicked even more dramatically.
I'm guessing he still ran big negative splits, just not as huge as the rest of them.
lol will Sara Hall ever WIN?
she is the queen of coming up just short, but props to her for real. no insult intended

New rule. If you're going to call a professional runner "pathetic", make you must prove that you pr is within 45s/mile of his/hers. I think your name suits you well.
Sara Hall has won this race before. You must be new to the sport
Alan Webb to Ron Warhurst after the race: "Another two weeks I woulda had all those f**kers!"
i thought it was cragg who made the surge...i had originally thought i was huling but pretty sure the announcers were saying it was crag...wouldn't be utterly shocking if they were wrong though
definitly milne, n definitly not dumb, he knew he couldnt win, but he did get 1000$ for the move
Cragg gapped the field from 800-1200. Then the real racing began.
