Bazu Worku is still a teenager. He's been on top of the splits all the way so far. Impressive to see him up with the two big boys at this stage.

I think this is Worku's 3rd marathon. 2:06:15 debut last year in Paris at age 18 and 2:09:54 for 3rd in Ottawa on May 30 this year.
40k in 1:58:45 - Makau and Mutai attack and run away from Worku.
Makau surges at 40 km, Mutai goes with him and Worku loses touch. They may kick under 2:05.
In the meatime, Aberu Kebede leads the women's race (1:58:59 at 35k). Bezunseh Bekele 63 seconds behind. Morimoto +2:04, Mockenhupt +2:10
