So I've ran XC since 6th grade and have loved every moment of it. I would say I'm just decent compared to your average high school sophomore (just ran a PR of 17:19 5k). I've also lifted weights since I was in 6th grade (now bench 205 and squat 275) and have always followed football. Well, short story, I'm beginning to lose motivation for running XC, since I know I won't ever go big in it. I also know I won't ever go big in football, but at least I'll have that moment of glory the rest of my high school career, something I won't have with XC since our high school could care less about it. Idk, maybe I just wrote this to rekindle my love for running. Help Letsrun?
