Sounds reasonable to me. Also I think what's being missed in this discussion is that half of the really "out there" comments on either side are actually trolls trying to rile everybody up. If I want to bash Webb, I'm going to write this:
What people are really missing is that Alan Webb is going to be the next 10k American record holder. If he can run a 14:15 5k at TEMPO pace, that means his actual 5k pace is at least 20 seconds per mile faster, meaning he's ALREADY IN 13:05 SHAPE!!! Another year of training and he'll be going through 5k of a 10k in 13:20 and it'll feel like jogging. With his massive kick he's a shoe in to medal in Daegu.
Then just sit back and wait.
