How can you reference Plato's cave allegory and then claim you're right because of facts and numbers?

Although interesting, looking at the splits from just ONE of Peter Snell's 800m races is not a good basis to make definitive conclusions about his "aerobic" or "anaerobic" condition and his ability to speed up or slow down in the second half of the race.

You, I thank. Had scanned through this thread and was surprised (sorry if I overlooked it) that no one else had pointed this out.

It is not just one Snell run. It happens THIS RUN IS THE SNELL LIFETIME BEST 800m RUN IN TERMS OF PERFORMANCE. The single run of one 800m runner that is his own Pb an outstand run at that time that by the way it is THE WORLD RECORD at that time it means something more than ONE single run. However he is side by side with all the other 800m WR and that run is related to the other ones. Ok. HRE says we can´t relate one with each other, then how may i relate the other one Snell runs with this one ?
One more thing. Who said that i did not analyze the other 800m Snell runs ? I did. I may say that most of Snell important runs follows the same WR split pattern with few exceptions like the heats in the olympics. Normally when i say something i do more data than i post about the subject that i post. I'm documented. Simply this board it is not one court where i need to prove everything by facts. Anyhow by data prove the fact is undeniable. However even if i did not more data to analyze Snell split paces, i am right about this one.
It is an absurd the argument from one person that is much younger than me but he says that one coach with my experience and with legal IAAF coach credentials i don´t understand Lydiard because i don´t understand what is holism. It´s ridiculous. Best if he says i am a troller or the old contest he can´t read because i write in poor english. I followed the Lydaird training footsteps since long. More than 50 years ago but i dont understand Lydiard training because i don´t comprehend the HOLISM of the Lydiard training. May be it is not holism but an ocult science or one secret science that only the Lydiard adepts should understand.
So are you basically admitting that you are Antonio Cabrall? I thought he had some sort of IAAF credentials... You know, I don't care who you are or what credential you have. I'd much rather be coached by someone whose terms on aerobic and anaerobic might be a tad outdated but a nice sincere guy who I can trust and respect than some asshole who shows off his knowledge and credentials. You have been acting a total jerk and, for one, you don't get one ounce of my respect. I'm sure you don't give a damn and that's why you are the way you are.
You don't care who he is but you're calling him a jerk. Did something he said in this thread touch a nerve buddy? God forbid, anybody criticizes Lydiard or argues against Lydiard's training regimen.....
Does anyone have any experience with the reverse of this shakeout AM run plus the main run in the afternoon? ie, do the main run in the morning and an easy jog in the afternoon/evening. Would you get the same non-scientific "flush out the muscles" effect doing this before a night of sleep?
Just curious if anyone has first hand experience/thoughts on this.

I got the same feeling about the poster shockwave on this old thread.
