Anybody know anything?
Historically PAC-10 is a Sunday event??
All I know is:
1. Stanford
5. Oregon
Individuals
8th place Zografos, UO
Sorry, not much help
the UCLA website should have results eventually
I thought someone said Dobson and Bei won.
Full results can be found here:
Check out the individual race results ... they've got men's 8k and women's 6k results meshed together!
As for Stanford's women ... great up front, but that 1:26 spread between 1-5 is going to kill them vs. BYU and others.

The race was run on a 2K golf course loop (Brookside Golfcourse at the Rose Bowl). The open race run before the championships had men and women together, women doing 6K, men 8K, hence the combined results.
Weather was beautiful with no wind and 60's. The loop was basically a big oval, continuously climbing/descending about 50 feet on the ~800m long sides, and ~200m flat across the top and bottom. It was a fast course, but the gradual climb was enough to break things up in the later laps of both the men's and women's PAC-10 races.
Here's a short recap, as best as I can recall:
For the men, Stanford had 8 up front for the first lap. The start wasn't too fast, and a lead group of 10 or so started to break away around one mile. Stanford's top 3 and Hartmann pulled away slowly during the second and third laps, then Robinson and Dobson made a move near the start of the last (4th) lap with Sage and Hartmann dropping back. Andrus moved up strongly over the last 2k for 4th. Oregon had a good pack early on, but always behind the Stanford guys (except for Hartmann who was up front all along).
For the women, Stanford had 8 or so in the front early, and only Nilsson of UCLA challenged Stanford's top 4. Bei and Fleshman broke away from the rest and were comfortably ahead, with Nilsson closing strongly to make it look closer than it really was. Barrientos had a great finish to slip into 9th in the final straight.
That's a sick, sick pack that Stanford has. 33 seconds from 1-7? That's just ridiculous. They've got to have the upper hand heading into Nationals, but 10km is a little different than 8km.
a nice pic from pac10z
I have a picture from somewhere around 5k (we were hanging out at the north end of the course with our little girl). 11 people in a slightly fragment pack. 9 Stanford.
I've always been a sentimental Colorado fan, but I have seen the future, and it features 5 guys from the Cardinal.
