I feel bad for not using this quote and wanted to at least give it a few props. David Oliver talking to the IAAF about the world record.
David Oliver said:“It’s the world record for a reason,” he says. “You just don’t wake up and stretch your arms and yawn and say ‘I think I’m going to run the world record today.’

Shame on me.
Shame on you is right. Shame on you for your incessant, hysterical, torches and pitchforks ranting about drug cheats. Okay, PEDs are bad. But the manic Nancy Reagan posturing from the founders of this site is getting old. Yes, Gatlin was convicted, but he also did his time, waited out his punishment, and a lynch mob of right wing crazies and chickenshit meet directors have no right to enact a de facto lifetime ban once his actual ban is up. One would expect a little more ability to use heart and head from an Ivy grad. Let Gatlin prove he has what it takes to compete clean. If he can't he will fade away all on his own. If he can, well more power to him. And while he's trying, test the mf every day. But in the meantime, Rojo, maybe you need to stop playing judge and jury.
