It was set up primarily to be revenue producing for the brojos. I doubt if it costs them any readers or posters.

...I think the whole new format is AWESOME!!! Read again, AWESOME!!! 'Change' is good kids and don't you forget it!
I can't believe some, not all of the negative responses...sounds like a bunch of old women at a nursing home.
And who says Puma doesn't make good running equipment and other sports related items? Wow, come fellas, get with the times...and if you're not used to 'change' you'd better get use to it now...as it's a constant in life.
Again, congrats to Letsrun...the change/look was way over due...you're heading in the right direction..and for the few who can't handle change, wow, get a grip fellas, because someday your kids are gonna laugh at you as you suit up in your dated running 'short-short' or 'baggy type basketball' running type shorts and call you an 'old fart!'
Nice job 'Letsrun.com!'
Is this a sprinting website now? I hate sprinters.
This Usain Bolt thing is still going on? Ok, we get it. Back to the letsrun.com home page we've come to know and love.
While I am neutral about most of the changes, I really don't like the large margins on both sides that are just background. Why have the wasted space? It makes the actual content too narrow. When you combine the margin with only the background with the other columns, the actual content looks like I a Microsoft Word document with the margins moved in 2+ inches.
I support the idea of getting some more money for all the work you guys put in, and if this is what it takes to get the money I'm okay with it. Having said that, I do prefer the old layout.
Too busy. I don't like it. It looks like letsrun sold out to puma. The fact that you had to explain things with the phrase, no puma did not buy letsrun...should mean you already understand the site is littered with ads.
I'm disappointed letsrun would agree to something like this. I guess money can buy anything. And for the record the entire front page could be puma and I still wouldn't buy their gear. Unless I try something on and it feels right to me, I won't buy it. Puma would have been better off giving away free stuff to letsrun visitors who agree to give feedback on it.
I remember wrestling in my Puma wrestling shoes in highschool 1979!
I have run 7 marathons and over 375 road races - never have I run in Pumas - do they even make road shoes? If so are they decent?
If some one paid me a load of money I guess I'd take it.
But it twisted my mind to open LetsPuma.com !
Everyone always complains about websites when they change. Everyone was complaining so much about the new facebook when it came out. Then people get used to it and love it. I think its sick.
And I am sure the website got a lot of money. These guys work hard and deserve the big money from big names like puma.
so glad to see the old page today.
