nova won, providence 2nd, gtown 3rd, nd 4th.
notre dame women won, gtown 2nd.
Who were the top finishers in the mens race from nova?
Men's race
Nova 39
Providence 49
G'town 55
Sutton wins in like 23:33, jogs last mile -- had a huge lead after 1200 meters and never gave any up.
Villanova goes 2-3-4, Fasulo and Hayden pulled away from the chase pack with a mile to go. Mile to go, Blincoe looked like he was history and then passed like 10 guys to place fourth, all three under 24:00.
Providence looked like they would win early but fell apart as Villanova got better.
Glad to hear the rumors of Blincoe's demise were exagerated. How did Parlapiano run?
Parlipiano was their fourth guy, a few spots back.
Any Hoyas in the top ten?
Yeah two I"m pretty sure, Smith was the second and I can't remember who was first for them.
Ok I'm leaving now, too much internet.
Gtown had 3 or 4 all Big East (top 15)
Sutton had a 75m lead at the 800m mark and he didn't see any competition for the entire race. He built the lead up to almost 200m by the finnish, and he did not seem to be exerting himself much at all. I was very impressed, I think he is good for top 5 at NCAAs.
Fasulo and Hayden ran together in between Sutton and the chase pack, and Blinco seemed content to sit with the pack and kick in the last mile. Nova impressed as a team.
Mobley did not run, but Tim Moore ran well.
Sutton wins easily.
Splits:
Sutton Pack
1 Mile 4:24 4:40
2 Mile 9:20 9:39
3 Mile 14:10 14:32
4 Mile 19:00 pack broken up
5 Mile check the results when they come out.
Top 5 is a pretty tall order this year.
Anybody know where full results might be? There's nothing up on the Big East Conference site or at trackshark.com....
Thanks
try the BC website, I thinks it is www.bceagles.com
Damn, where did Fasulo come from? That guy was way the f*** back in some mid-level invite a month or so ago. Guess Sully knows how to peak em!
actually.. i think marcus' training lies in teaching the guys how to train and to know how they feel.. fasulo is a master at that... from what i have heard he knows exactly what his body can do on a given day... pretty amazing

No doubt it is, but it is an order I think Sutton is ready to place. He has been off of most people's radar because he was injured last year by Big East but he managed to pull out nasty 10k and a solid 14:00 easy 5k win at IC4As. He dominated Big East the same way he dominated New Englands, running as fast as Keith Kelly did years ago.
I cannot wait to see what he does with competition, it should be good for sure.
1) How high can Villanova finish with Fasulo running like this?
2) How many great runners have come out of New Jersey in the last five years?
Patience people, patience :)

As stated earlier, sometimes it takes a while for the results to be posted. Trackshark is getting some the media releases at the same time as the sports information people. The above pdf file is what was sent out...enjoy.
