I won't even try to go through the group, but I enjoyed seeing Garry and Barry, plus Bill R. about four rows back.
Is that Billy just above 2693 in the middle?
could you link the 1980 10,000 picture? i want to use either this/that as my wallpaper. thank
I wonder if you can still get a Perrier singlet anywhere. Also number 38 is looking like a complete badass in his mustache and aviators.

I think 38 is Mike "draw a line and i'll race your ass" Slack
overlooking the obvious - Pete Bortolotti - (almost front) and center!
Is that Bob Hodge in the Greater Boston singlet, couple runner's back over Salazar's left shoulder?
The 1980 trials race wasn't tough.

Sheesh! It would be easier to list who ISN'T in that photo. Anyone else have a feeling that Joanie is hidden behind #27 on the far right?
Think the roadrace picture is Falmouth.

What could possibly make you think that?
Agree that's Joanie.
Love the striped basketball socks on Salazar.
I'm sure Virgin appreciates being called "2693" (above).

The guy in the Kenya shirt, I suppose, is Hillary Tuwei? I thought he was Joseph Nzau.
Was that the famous AlSal last rites ice water run?
Is that Dick Beurkle's noggin behind Fleming and Arbogast?
Yes, Alberto was given last rights when his core temp went to 109 degrees. Came to the awards ceremony and we all could see the bandaid and cotton where he had received IV's in both arms.
It was also a hot, hot day with high humidity. I recall the guys upfront went out at a crazy pace. Also, the roads back then were in terrible shape as I recall.
