I find it interesting how on the Bachelorette, they try to find guys with unique features, e.g. a runner, triathlete, entrepreneurs, etc.
On the Bachelor they are just picking the biggest whores.

People are going to rag on this guy which is just sad. How fast do you have to be to be able to be proud of what you did? He IS a good runner, period. Not the greatest in the country or anything, but very, very good. I don't even know this guy, but anyone who comes on here and talks crap about him for being slow is officially a jealous douche. That is all.
You can't be serious. Guys are ripping on him because he is on a TV show where you are trying to marry a girl in 3 weeks time.....after seeing her on the same TV show. Soap Opera love. He just happens to be a D3 guy who's 800 time couldn't win my conference for the last 25 years.
Joan Benoit was Division III
Don't forget that 99.9% of the guys posting on this board who are ragging on DIII couldn't break 18:00 in a 5K. It's easy to judge when no one knows how slow you are. Does it make you feel better about yourselves to put good runners down?

Edwin Moses was DII at Morehouse College.
Then why does he hold the dIII 400mH record?
http://www.raceberryjam.com/2010/ncodmenheats.htmlFor the record, D III all - american goes to top 6 finishers.
holy crap this guy looks like Dennis from its always sunny
That's false. Keep trying though. Kirk's a good dude.
Tattoo count of 1..... not impressed at all....
What is so wrong with a 3:54? That is a very respectful time!!!

POTY.
Post of the year, name and post concise and therefor elegant.
Good job.
Any person on a reality television show has to be a douche. what normal person would whore themselves out on national television. amazing race would be pretty sweet though.
some people want to go out and do different things.
oooooo running....how exciting life you live. Want to trade lives?
Just so you all know, he gets 4th. He falls head over heels for her and then she dumps him after they go on the hometown date. Expect lots of man tears.
You're welcome.
Nope. Hasn't been that was (indoors at least) since 2001. All-American is givin to the top eight indoors and outdoors now.
Kirk did not even make UW-Oshkosh's DMR team the year he was All-American. They ran Dave Cisewski, Steve Wagner, John Leroy and Matt Groose. The first three, by the way, were all transfers from UW-La Crosse.
Since he is a good distance runner, chances are that he is short. Therefore I agree, he will go/run home quickly.
He was talking about how he was "Top 8 in the country" last night.
I had never heard of the guy so I had to search this site.
3:54 = 4:12 for the mile, which is faster than 99.99% of the country. I don't think it's unreasonable to call him a good runner.
