My big plan for 2011:
Run a sub9 3000m. No excuses will be accepted. This has to be achieved. To reach my target, I need some advice.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TRAINING WISE?
SHOULD I LEAN MORE TOWARDS 1500m TRAINING OR 5000 TRAINING? (we've got one middle distance and one long distance group at my club)
ANYONE KNOW ANY GOOD SESSIONS WHICH CAN BE USED AS A RESULT PREDICTOR? (i.e. how fast should I, for instance, run when doing 6x1000m to be able to do 8.59.99?)
I run 100km/week (about 65-70 miles, I believe). During track season I go down to 70-80-90km.
Best 5k result (road): 16.43 (a bit windy on the day)
Best 1500m result (track): 4.30 (not pleased at all about that race, think I should be able to run about 4.22 on a good day).
What sort of result in a 3000m do the above predict?
