JK coached Wejo and Rojo and Tinman has coached nobody I've heard of. But like has been said, it really shouldn't be "between" those two. If you want a system from a coach who has had noted success with many runners, check out this:

So how fast is this Tinman can someone tell us?
its no how much the coach knows or even how much success they've had - the real deal is how well YOU do/fit with the coach - provided they something. Can be the most knowledgeable well read experienced coach - if he/she and you don't connect then - ...
Care to take another stab at making that intelligible, Corky?

Good, neither is anyone else.

Tinman ran sub 4 I think for 1500 and low 15 for 5000 a long time ago. But this is irrelevant. The fastest runners rarely make the best coaches.

Coaching himself?
Tinman times are: 1:59/800, 4:01/1500, 4:23/mile, 15:14/5k, 33:01/10k. This guy can't run or coach at all.

Nope. 4.01.
john kellogg seems to be a lydiard guy himself
I don't really know much about kellog, but while i was in high school between my junior and senior years, I was coached by email by tinman in 2006.. Don't know whether it was the fact that I was actually running consistent during the off season or what, but either way I used his coaching and went from 1:56.9 as a junior to running 1:52.7 to finish out my high school career.
coughing, how was ur training like then?

A young runner and a natural progression. The fact that you finally started to run consistently tells it all.

what are these twos training philosophys and whose are better?
Kellogg's ideas are good, but, his approach can be complex from the little I've read. You really need to work directly with him to get the most out of it. Also, from what I gather, it can take a few years to get the most out of it (a la Lydiard). Be prepared to do miles with some workouts. Read Wejo's bio for more actual input.
Tinman ideas are also good. He has coached a couple of faster, medium and slower guys. He works will all sorts of folks. And, yes, he can help you improve as well. His volumes tend to be more moderate than Tinman and seem to lend themselves to folks who have lives and responsibilities outside of running (no that's not a stab at Kellogg). If you want to talk more about his training, go to the forums over there.
I don't think Kellogg even bothers posting anymore and the last email address I tried to use is dead...so, it seems hard to reach him. If it were up to me, and I didn't have years to reach my goals, I'd go with Tinmna.
Who´s Tinmna?

He a relative of common sense. Apparently you are unfamiliar with his family line.
i think that kelloggs ideas are better then tinman and all it is high end aerobic speeds, easy days are easy and get lots of miles. also limit hard interval workouts. nothing to complex

Nice comeback!
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
