They said it was the course record, needless to say, but haven't put the time up on the screen again yet.....

Eliud Kiptanui 2:05:39!!!!

He said it was his 2nd marathon.

the website results say 2:05.37 a debut marathon record apparently.

i was going on tilastopaja and iaaf.org not listing any marathons.

First 10k in 29:13 and still hangs on for a 2:10 PB.

Thanks guys, I also try to find out who this Eliud Kiptanui is, from where etc. He really pushed towards the end. 2.12 to 205 is somehowe a big step. Same as this Sammy Kosgei guy who ran 71 in the 25 of Berlin... the new guys are coming!
