They are not dwindling enough. They are still too old. Guys like Humphrey, Morgan, and Johnson need to move over and let the twenty something crowd enjoy their time. I wish that they would start with a complete fresh new group of guys.
Nick wanted to train at altitude and be closer to home (CA). Smart move to join McMillan. They are building a very strong team (as today's 1,2,3 placing shows).
Thats not what Nick told me...

I have had the luxury of interviewing all parties involved over the last couple months.
Much like my first marriage, the divorce was a good thing. My previous wife is happier and I am a hell of a lot happier. It seems like Nick is in a good place and the Hansons seem like they are happier now than they were last year. The change seems to be good for everybody, so no sense in trying to find a villian.
His entry says Playmakers Racing.
Nick has run for Hansons-Brooks in January for the US Half Marathon
By March he was a member of the Playmakers team for the 15k.
Now in May he is running for McMillan Elite for the 25k.
It will be exciting to see who he whores himself out to by July for the US 10k?
What is going on with the Hanson's? It's been a good slide since the '08 marathon trials. A 25K championship in their own backyard and nobody from the group shows up?
Dot was third. Nice run returning from pregnancy.
Love the fact that Andrew won this race coming off an injury over the fall/winter months. The guy trains as hard as anyone out there (sometimes I think too hard, seems to race his best after injurys force him to rest), but I think that is why he comes back so strong. Way to go AC, I look forward to your marathon debut!
More and better 25 km races will help our post-collegiate development of marathoners as they move from college xc and 10,000 meters, they need serious racing at long distances. More 30 kms and 20 milers would help even more.
They are actually much more exciting long distance races than marathons because more runners can race all the way.
Too much of marathons is waiting, then falling to pieces.
