That's what people don't realize. Merritt STILL hasn't run as fast a 400 as Wariner has... he just now has Jeremy's number in head to head battle. He has completely psyched Wariner out. I would guess the situation has instantly been reversed as of today, though.
I also predict a slap on the wrist for Merritt. He'll definitely be around for the Olympics if not 2010 and 2011.
No surprise Merritt was juiced. Look at how quickly he gained muscle mass and extra speed, all of a sudden. While doing hard training for the 400.
Of course it'll be a slap on the wrist. The Enzyte excuse was cooked up to simply make it sound so embarrassing it must be true. Officials will do all they can to try and cover up or lessen any problems a black athlete has, truth be told. Look at how they covered up for Carl Lewis for years. The "Federation" has covered up a lot over the years, but they go that extra mile when it's an oppressed person of color. Of course, it isn't PC to mention this truth.
If Wariner hadn't have left his coach though, the juiced up Merritt wouldn't have beaten him anyway. Now that he's back with Clyde Hart, it'll be interesting to see if he gets some of his old snap back. Because you can bet officials will let possibly let Merritt get away more, hoping it will all go away.
Wariner should be given the 2008 gold medal.

I named baseball/football/basketball explicitly because those are the sports where they dope a ton but they don't really punish their athletes for doing so. There's a lot of PEDs in cycling but also they have a pretty good control mechanismn and a lot of athletes get busted.
I should have added Tennis (look at the Williams sisters) and soccer. The world's best player (Messi) was too short when he was 15 so they (Barcelona FC) fed him with growth hormons over years. No one cares.

Let's be more succinct:
American Blacks,
Russian Whites.
Biggest cheats on the planet.
You may have been succinct, but you were not entirely accurate or specific enough. Of course you left out Chinese women, and of course we know East German women were not "russian". The poster you responded did not mention any particular sport. Yes, you could assume he meant running, and if so, your statement appears fairly accurate (but not perfect). However, if we include ALL sports, it is not so accurate. Look at cycling. INCREDIBLE history of PED use/cheating. And the sport is virtually all WHITE EURO or WHITE US athletes. And weightlifting and weight events in track and field? White dominated sports. That is just one example. So including ALL sports, you have a STRONG history of cheating/PED use with:
* West euro white (males)
* US white (males)
* US black (males and females)
* East Euro White (females and males)
* Asian (chinese) females
So broaden this discussion past just running, and you don't see too many groups without lots of cheaters.
Blacks are more likely than other groups to use "recreational" drugs. This has been true for decades, and has nothing to do with economic circumstances as is claimed by phony, disingenuous PC apologists. Hence it's not a jump to believe that they would be more likely to use PED's. There is PED use among all groups. However, in the case of the Russians and Chinese, that appears to be "federation" sponsored.
It is good to look at cycling. Then to look at liars like Dr. Gabriele Rosa, who bailed from cycling when he started getting too much attention, and began working with Kenyans. Are all Kenyans doped? No. But Rosa is able to pull the race card. And he does. So does Jos Hermens with the Ethiopians. The same Jos Hermens who was believed by most everybody to be a drug cheat himself.
Merritt is lowbrow, dumbass cheat who got caught. No doubt at all that he's been doped since at least '07. None. End of story.
'It is good to look at cycling.'
All cheats in cycling are white so you are talking bollocks
DHEA is an old school PED, if it was in LM's system during the Olympics or WCs, the new analysis/protocals would have easily detected it. This is the substance your neighborhood muscle head would use, not a well off world class athlete.
There are drugs out there with much better enhancing propereties and to get the max effect from DHEA you need be on it pretty much with in a couple days of your competition. To really benefit from DHEA, you will almost surely get caught. If LM was trying to cheat, it means he is not very bright -or perhaps he was actualy attempting to enhance his performance in another arena.

Unless you are a chemist and actually know what you are talking about with regard to masking effects, etc., then your post is worthless.
If Merritt actually took an over the counter supplement that expressly claims to 'increase performance' (regardless of in which arena) without looking into the possible drug testing effects, then he might just be the dumbest sprinter currently on the circuit... and he deserves to be banned for that dubious distinction alone.

Armstrongs teammate just got busted and he is Chinese.
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/22042010/2/cycling-armstrong-team-mate-li-fuyu-fails-doping-test.htmlI think the race discussion doesn't get us anywhere.
I think if Merritt really was trying to cheat, he would make a public excuse that was not nearly as embarrassing as attempting to increase the size of his penis. That's all I have to say.

Actually, white college age kids are more likely to use recreational drugs than any other demographic group in the USA. And they still can't dance or sound or look cool.
Back in the day Merritt would consistently lose by a few inches. Not anymore!
Guess that goes to show you really shouldn't lean you chest over the line!
Guys, you gotta to watch and listen to what he said about using drugs. this was b4 the bust.

No, you're getting it mixed up. It goes:
Someone black and not American runs a good time - doper. Some American caught doping - innocent.
I once asked LaShawn Merritt at an event how much sex really went down in the Olympic Village in Beijing. We took some time to talk about it (he knew a few cashing in), but he said he didn't partake. He said it was because his events were so late in the competition, but now I'm not so sure that was the reason.
it seems reasonable explanation because he failed 3 tests that were spread apart any serious athlete that is doping would maybe let one slide not 3 like that
