Wrong. The lottery it would have been if they caught LM before the Beijing Olympics.

Wariner should get the gold now.
"To know I have tested positive as a result of a product I used for personal reasons IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO WRAP MY HANDS AROUND,'' Merritt said in the statement. "I hope my sponsors, family, friends and the sport itself will forgive me for making such a foolish, immature and egotistical mistake."
I guess whatever he took worked....
DHEA?? You mean the thing you can get from a whole bunch of different supplements at health food stores? That's just tragic. He couldn't be caught with a lamer PED than that. I can't believe that it's actually banned.
I find it amazing that anyone still cares about this sort of story. It's not as though an athlete can take DHEA and win without doing the work, or that by eliminating drug use in sport you suddenly level the playing field.
High performance sport is not a healthy, pure endeavour, and if you expect athletes to treat their bodies like temples and be outstanding role models to your "little moppets" (as Dick Pound once put it - what a git) then you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
the extenz or enzyte he was taking was likely a masking agent for something else. too damn bad
It gave him probably .1
lol

Ha ha ha; good one>always a good/terrible excuse for a male-hmmmm duh I needed male enhancement to make me faster lol.
at this point, I would like to ask a question of the ladies out there (if there are any)-
Let's say the product works (and we know it doesn't, but bear with me and pretend it doe). Under that assumption, would you rather date a runner who is on top of the world making lots of $ and winning lots of race, but who only has a very small penis (let's say 3.5 inches maxed out), OR....would you rather date a disgraced, suspended runner suspended from his job who has a very large penis, let's say 9 inches?
Well?
No, sorry, it is not a silly thing to say. It is HIS responsibility to know the content of everything he is putting into his body, whether it be a glass of orange juice or a "common over the counter supplement." If this is something he needs for personal reasons and it is on the banned list, then go through a doctor and apply for a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) from WADA and USADA. His coach and agent should also be aware of this process and what he is taking. And yes, it was out of competition but you're on the out of competition testing list, Merritt, so you still have to follow the proper procedures if you want to take something legitimately! He didn't just turn professional yesterday...this is all known to the athletes.
Greg, you are a moron. Period. And "git"? What are you, some kind of pathetic ex-pat limey?
KIM COLLINS! That was his name, as pointed out by an earlier poster.
Now HE seemed clean, to me. But what do I know?

I used to treat my body like a temple. But then I thought, "When was the last time I went to temple?"

how long is the suspension?
About 6 inches.
Isn't his coach Hart? He always seemed so righteous, wonder what he has to say about coaching a druggie.
