I recently went out of town on business for about 2 weeks. During my time away, which was 14 days I was only able to run 4 due to my schedule. I did run a 5K with one of my 4 days of running and managed a 19:00 over a very VERY hilly course. I've got a 2 mile race coming up this weekend and I ran yesterday for the first time in over a week, and my legs felt heavy and tired. I know I'm not fast by any means but was hoping to run around 11:00 until this unexpected break. I guess my question is how much would one lose with a 10 day break. I'm trying to reevaluate my goals for this weekend and my 5K next weekend.
