Will they start using real bib numbers this time ? Up to now, Mt Sac has never had valid bib numbers.

OH NO! I do not see Eddy Lee's name in the heat sheets for the men's 1500.

2 1603 Bumbalough, Georgetown listed in the Open 5K. Would've thought this guy would be in the fastest 5K heat.

All the 5k heats will be plenty fast. Bumbalough may just want a regional mark as opposed to a 13:30? Unbelievable how so many distance coaches want their guys in the "hottest heat" even if it's not the best situation for their fitness level or mentally!

How slow can I bet to run in the slowest section of the 10K? I need a goal for next year...

If LA is the Track Capitol of the World, how come Mt. Sac is in Walnut and not LA?

Lets face it, LA is closer to the murder capitol of the world (and they're behind several cities in the U.S on that) than the track capitol.

When was the last time people actually travelled to "LA" to watch a track meet? I know a lot of athletes go to Walnut once a year to do a meet, but I don't know of many people who go to "LA" to watch track. Hardly a track capital if there is no track to watch. Pretty much any city in Europe which hosts a golden league meet can claim more than LA. Hell, Des Moines, Boston, NY, Philadelphia and Eugene have a lot more track than LA does.

Maybe your point was there are a lot of great athletes who train in LA but go to actual track capitols for track meets?

There may be a reason behind Bumbalough like coming back from injury, but every year people are misseeded.

Yuki Sato ran 27:38 last year at Brutis Hamilton, is in the second 5k.

also Aaron Braun is in the C heat. Dude ran 7:51 in January.

I can't find a schedule of events anywhere. I know the meet goes from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.

Can any of those claim two Olympics? Didn't think so. LA is the track capital of the world. Acknowledge, move on, stop whining. And using your stupid logic New York does not have a track meet but Ithica has a pretty big one. Boston has no marathon but there is a pretty famous one that starts in Hopkinton, Mass.
