LAPD: 80s Teen Idol Corey Haim Dead at 38
LOS ANGELES -- Actor Corey Haim has died at the age of 38, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed to KTLA.
It's believed Haim died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday of an accidental overdose, police said. He was found unresponsive at his Oakwood apartment. His mother was at the home at the time.
The actor, who has struggled with drug addiction, was pronounced dead Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank.

I am shocked he out-lived Brittany Murphy.

Speak for yourself. Working a couple blocks from PAH-chay University, I'm acutely aware how those eggheads, for all their brilliance in their chosen fields, never seem to have time for Weekend at Bernie's or Maximum Overdrive.
weird timing to hear this. I had JUST purchased "The Lost Boys" on DVD last week because txRUNNERgirl had never seen it and we watched it Sunday.
he was in "License to Drive" too, featuring a very young Heather Graham.
