Not even close. She married you, I didn't.

Eerily correct.
You're right, you are actually probably crazier, and by a lot... she at least had the sense to marry a guy like me!

She at least had the sense to DIVORCE a guy like me.

Hate to break it to you lady, but the guy is trolling you. Courage Wolf is a meme about a wolf who does everything perfectly and is completely self confident and successful. I'd bet a dime to a dollar that the poster Courage Wolf has never been married, is in college, gets decent grades without trying, has bad sleeping patterns, could do well with girls if he tried but is too shy to do so, and masturbates A LOT. Am I hitting close to the mark, Courage Wolf?
Can we please get back on topic?

10. Have you learned nothing from sports? Pick yourself up dust yourself off and get going. Everyday is a new race.
Good luck.
Might that be you, Mr. nsmb?
1) Ignore or have a good laugh at the juvenile rubbish posted by the OP, FP and others.
2) Read "The Art of Loving" by Eric Fromm
Best of luck to everyone who already is or who desires to be an adult.

You are not an alpha male, that's okay. By definition we can't all be alpha males.
No need to call my advice juvenile or rubbish, it is decent advice even if it is not for you.
Read Fromm???? If that works for you then great, but I do not want a sterile, anybody can do-this, love.
Give me the passion, the angst of missing someone, the fire of touch, the longing glance across a room at the woman who made my heart skip years ago with the tightness of her legs and the summer tan, and can make it skip now as I watch her hug the tears away from my child.
You want love???? You don't know the first thing about love. Love is to be taken when offered and given always. Cherished, fan the flames, miss it when it wanes, gorge on it when it is aflame, and come to see it in all its manifestations from pure raw heat to steady calming touch.
An alpha male knows these things, it is not that different in sports: Play to win , play to love.
Fromm was a cold little German that wanted to reduce love to mathematical equations and explanations instead of feel it.
You want the science of sport and love??? Or you want to play and feel victory and defeat???
Call me an athlete of love, not a referee, not an observer. And if you're gonna be an athlete, give it your best, and play to win.
Last of the Alpha Males
P.S. the only thing i share in common with Flagpole is i am faithful to my wife and with good reason, alpha males get the best out of themselves and their relationships, I don't need 10 relationships when I got the best
Alpha Women, keep the faith

Now that's a man. All the good ones are taken. Damn.

Don't believe him. Alpha Males know how to pull on a woman's heart strings. I was drawn in by his words for a brief moment, too.
you're right - maybe all hat and no cattle!
I need to believe him to go on living. Please, Alpha Male, tell us you're for real.

There are alpha males, and the MUCH more common males who understand how to ACT like alpha males. Ironically, the ones who have to need to make an act out of it are as far as you can get from being one for real.
The real alphas are out there, but remember, by there very definition they are the best, and get to pick the best of the women, so if you want one, you have to be desirable. I don't mean 'appear desirable' or 'act desirable,' that just makes you a female version of those alpha male wannabes. But if you're confident, emotionally independent, attractive, smart, and outgoing, you can land an alpha male... and he will have landed you.
