What's that song that goes "wee oh, wee oh" in the chorus? The second "wee" goes up to a higher pitch than the first. I think it might be an oldie, definitely a classic party song. Thanks
Three guesses

I like where your head is at, malmo. I was thinking the same thing... but there's no way this kid hears Morris Day's classic on any oldies stations.
And to the OP: can you possibly be any more vague in your description? Great job, bud!
It is "Frayed Ends of Sanity" by Metallica.
Now I have the Jungle Love song running through my head. My jungle love, uh, oh wee oh wee oh. Please please please, for the love of God, please.......someone get the right song soon. My feeble brain can't handle any more trips down memory lane. Oh wee oh wee oh.
Prince-It`s Gonna be a Beautiful Night may be what your looking for.
I was thinking Jungle Love too, by the greatest band in history, Morris Day and the Time.
Jungle love by Morris Day and the time? The one from Purple Rain?
(I think it was by them)
damn! Malmo beat me to it.

If so, definitely NOT classic,...............and probably not really a song by most definitions.
I think you need to show a little more respect to a man who's accomplished so much more than you ever will.
Tik Tok - Kei$ha

I haven't seen the correct answer yet. I don't know the name of the song but it's from the early 60's. I haven't heard it in decades but the lyrics are something/sort of like:
I can see the dance band's silhouette on the shade
I hear the music all around the dance parade
Open up let me in again
I thought you were my friend
Let me in---oop wee-o
exciters?
