According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's website, http://www.ajc.com, Life University has cut all of its athletic programs. This will have a major impact (for good and bad) on the NAIA, especially in track and cross country.
While Life did bring in many of the best athletes in the NAIA through its great facilities and generous scholarships, the school has a history of bending/breaking the rules, corruption and cheating that helped deligitimize the whole organization. It is sad that some honest athletes will be scrambling for $$$$ later this year if they want to compete.
