Why should he have to prove something?

Why should I? I've told you when and what I ran, I think that's plenty.

Ran it in 2002, so f*** off. I'm not doing anymore f***ing research for someone who doesn't give me their name either, f*** you. I'm bitter because I never broke 4.
and by "4" you mean "4:20." You just like to round down.
Sovacool has never run 3:41!
Sovacool has run 3:43
Would be very surprised if the Leslie/Murdaugh/White/See bunch ran the DMR. At Big 10's, See will double mile/3k, white will run the 800, murdaugh will have 400 and 4x400, and leslie may double as well.
You are right about Sovacool's 1500, though, I don't think that makes the analysis materially different as the fact is he could still run a solid 1200/1600 leg. Also, I never said that group would run at the Big 10 meet and I highly highly doubt that group would run there. I think its much more likely at Big 10 that the DMR is something like Murphy, Basdin, Hall, Leslie. Also, I realize that 9:24 would be a WR. I said in theory. Please refute the splits I posted if you think they are wrong. I also, said that I doubt they would run that fast, as it would have to occur in perfect conditions, which would include someone to run with/chase. Also, doesn't Texas hold the WR? It's not like it's a bunch of pros who hold the WR.
At Nationals, I could even see Cory at 2:52.high or 2:53.xx and Jeff running 3:55.xx or even 3:54.xx on a great day.
Crazy to think this little Ohio crew has enough middle distance talent to hang with the nation's best.
Isn't Guelph a D3 school? That has to be fastest time in the country.
He ran 4:06 for the mile in 2003, when he was 16 years old.
He's 23 years old right now (born in 1986 - turns 24 in June). As a senior in high school, in 2005, he ran 4:04 for the mile and 1:51 for 800.
College highlights up until this year:
2006 3:46.83 5 SeaRay Knoxville TN 14 Apr
2007 3:40.95 8h1 NC Indianapolis IN 22 Jun
2008 3:40.76 1 Saturn Hillsdale MI 7 Jun
2009 3:40.46 4h1 NCAA Fayetteville AR 11 Jun
Listen to some schmuck cracking on a collegiate athlete winning an indoor mile under 4 minutes. Do you realize how pathetically stupid you sound.
Pay Mom and Dad some rent and then go for a run.
See also made a finals of USATF 1500 as only a couple collegians did and was All-American in cross country (I thought this was really impressive with how big he is).
Does anyone else think Ohio State might be running too fast too soon? See ran a great mile regardless.

Guelph is from Canada and has won the past 5 or 6 national collegiate championships up there
I noticed they didn't run their fastest 800m runner at Notre Dame so maybe just getting ready for Conference and Nats with him. See may run a 3000, but he didn't run versus Michigan so I think it was an opener for him.
Jeff See is still a pansy. Wow Jeff, when are you going to beat anyone of importance? Skirt too tight in the big races?
Sub 4 for Jeff See - Nice. Not bad for a 28 year old. When's that kid gonna graduate?
Props to D Brent almost getting there. Keep it up!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
