Wanted to bump this old thread to see if anyone could confirm this. I recently reread Born To Run and I remembered it mentioned Alan Webb's foot transformation but on rereading it seemed even more unbelievable. Has Webb ever mentioned this in other interviews or training talks or even followed up to clarify certain details?
