If Bolt loses you will see all those people who claim track isn't a tough sport come out of the woodwork. They will say that an average football player beat the fastest track athlete ever. I hope Bolt doesn't lose.
And we can just say that the average football player was probably juiced since that sport has zero doping control.

So Bolt runs 4.64 through the 40 on his fastest race ever whereas Johnson runs 4.2. That is a huge difference. You could park a bus b/w that. You guys are crazy if you don't think Johnson has a chance at 60 meters. 100 prob not, but 60 I would bet on Johnson.
That's 40 metres for Bolt and 40 yards for Johnson! Plus as some other guy mentioned the 40 yd race start when the runner goes so does not have any reaction time delay
and one more thing.. the timing on these 40yd sprints is dodgy
Here is an example of how it will go:

Interesting article.
This would look like Secretariat racing a work mule.

Isn't Secretariat dead?

One would figure his best shot would be a short race since Bolt is relatively slow out of the blocks.
Huh? Bolt is consistently faster than everyone else at all phases of the 100m.
Where do you idiots come from?
