I figured about 30 a week for 4 years of high school (this is pretty conservative as I was running 45-50 as a senior, but I also probably took a month-6 weeks off a year).
This comes to 6240
College I figured about 70 week for five years, this I figure is pretty honest, I probably started around 60 a week in college and finished around 80, and never took more than a couple weeks a year other than one 6 week injury.
This comes to 14560
After college I spent three years training pretty seriously, these were my highest mileage years with many weeks spent between 85 and 105 miles. I also had more frequent injuries and figured an average of 85 a week for this time,
Total, 13260
Since then I've been spotty, I've had some 80 miles weeks, but also some 40 mile weeks, and spend most of my time in between, a year and a half at 60 a week
another 4680
This totals to 38740 and doesn't count the miles I ran in junior high for two years, (at least 500 a year).
I currently am mad at myself for being lazy for about a month and have started "training" again and will be at least 80 a week until I lose my will. I don't see myself ever running less than 40 a week without some serious change in my health. At 40 a week it'll take me a little under 29 more years to hit 100,000.

Probably somewhere towards the middle or that, don't know exact
20. (running since freshman in hs)
You've averaged roughly 80 miles/week since starting running your freshmen year in HS? I'm 22 and probably have 16,000.

Freshman year was low, like 60's. I went out and ran 90-100mpw during my soph year(partially due to being dumb, partially due to letsrun.com, haha). That was stupid then, I train smarter now, but the mileage has been similar. It's slightly higher now. Granted in season it's a little lower(70-80), and I've been injured here and there. So 20,000-25,000 was just a general guess. Figured my avg soph through now was 85-95ish and did the math that way...
About to hit 116K miles.
Age 45
34 years of running
Been running since I was 11, The first 2-3 years are estimates, the last few are approximations from my logs.
1999 100
2000 400
2001 1000
2002 1500
2003 2000
2004 2250
2005 2400
2006 2700
2007 3100
2008 3100
2009 3450 (so far)
That makes 22,000 give or take which seems pretty right.
hundreds at least.
I've been running since i could.
Age 18
~12,000 - 15,000 miles in 10 years of running
I ain't got no badges!
but my college team-mate has ... at least 150,000+, as of 12/08 and I know he continue's to run. So assuming he's hit about the same as the last 10 yrs or so - he would be @ 152,000 +/- (prob plus)
... and the Dr Herbert Fred thing sounds a bit "apples and oranges' to me, although an admirable endeavor. Treadmill 'miles' are not equal to road/track miles, however impressive that might appear. I personally couldn't include.
Just hit 60,000
roughly 30,000+ miles at age 29. 24,000+ of which is actually logged.
49 years old. I'm sitting at 54994.9 before tonight's run. Nearly 1/3 of it (18935 miles) has been in the last seven years. Began keeping track when I was 15 in 1975 and never stopped.
Closing in on 44, I've probably got something over 80,000 miles in my legs.
51,000 recorded miles at 26 years of age. Been running (and logging) since I was 11.
56.5 years and 106,000 by estimate. It may be a little over that. Haven't recoded anything over the past 7 years because I've only done about 5,000 during that time.
65,000
54 years old, been running 40 years. I only do maybe 1200 a year now.
