38 years old
about 37,000
I know that since 1999 I have 25,000. I definitely ran less before that. I have logs back to 1994 but too lazy to look them up.
Guy I work with is 56 (I think), I'd guess he's around 100,000.

31,549 - 37 years old (Age 28-37 only)
I probably ran ~10,000-20,000 miles in various sports up to age 28 before I started keeping a log.
48 yr old. i'm guessing 75000 +. i have logs back to age 23. my biggest year was 4100 and it seemed like all it did was run, work, and sleep. this year 2200 with some injuries i'm nursing. started running when i was 14 yr old.
83,000 at age 54. Started running at 13.
When I was in my early 40s, my ortho guy told me I had run 40,000 miles. He was advising me regarding a knee issue, but not sure if he checked the remaining tread life to get that number. Pretty sure he was making it up.
About 40,000 - aged 27
31,747 as of today - 24 years old. Pre-college is an estimate of 9,500...exact count since then.
Some of you will be hitting some very high numbers by the time you are my age.
I am 73 years old. I started running in 1952 but only ran in the spring and fall for the first few years. I stopped counting mileage many years ago but estimate that I have run about 70,000 miles. I know that I ran 24,216 in the 1960s and 19,807 miles in the 1970s. I will have to count how many miles I have raced sometime.
Approx 90K @ Age 50.
I'm 57. Started running and keeping a log at age 14. I'll hit 92,000 miles in January.
Now I am 55 years old, I have been running for 45 years (started to train and compete since I was 10 years old) but began logging in miles (keeping actual logs) since 1972 (so maybe I missed approxiamtely 6 to 7000 thousand miles.
But since august 15, 1972 till now December 1516, 2009 have done exactly 156.345 miles. Have competed a total of 875 races (mostly 800, 1500's,3000, 5000, 10,000, cross country and heavy road racing during the 70's and 80's but few marathons (5))
Have missed a total of 115 days of 0 running due to really really bad injuries and one big operation (two days later was running again and a cross country race two weeks later)
My legs are a mess and my days are over but now I still go out there and average around 70 miles a week. Yet all of this does not include weight work, bike riding and a lot of walking.
Hopefully will run till the last day I die

I've posted some impressive "lifetime total miles" at http://www.100kLifetimeMiles.com The leader of the pack seems to be a doc in Houston who has 230,000 lifetime miles. I think he's legit, as he has supplied details to me, but I can't be certain. I'm happy to include others who contact me.
80,000+ age 49
Larry Olsen>>Age 63>>Logged over 100,000 miles. Dropped dead running last week at the age of 63. RIP Larry.
