a few years back in a low key mile, i had some "contact" with watson too. to me it was just racing, and he dropped a 26-27 sec last 200 to put me away anyway. pretty funny to me that there have been other incidents. i agree he is a good guy though.
To me, It looks like a competitively fierce, exciting finish but nothing unfair. Don't you think Gruber was slightly ahead of Watson? SO, hey, that's just a head-to-head photofinish where everybody fights for each centimeter to gain on the other person. Perfectly fine in my opinion.

I had my back to the finish, but was standing about 5 meters deep in the chute...what you do miss is that right after they crossed the line, Gruber went down and when I turned around, he was sliding on his back right past me! Didn't see if he was just leaning too much and fell, got pushed from behind by Watson or a little of both...
