Thanks FTS. Doesn't it get so disheartening though? Damn i wish i had the continuity of even 6 months of training. (I'm not greedy). NO way could this be tendonitis or a tear - not enough running. sometimes i think it's mental. going from achilles to hamstring with only a month of running under my belt - and that's starting at 5 min. of running to start; not possible. i just got up to 5 miles myself. i am going to continue to plod through this
i too do alot of cross training - i only run 4x a week and swim 3-4x per week. not much of a biker.
