She is not a coach. She is an office assistant at USTFCCCA. Her main duties are to send mass emails to college coaches in regards to T&F team rankings.

Heard about this thread from a former teammate and find it entertaining. At WSU and GSU, every athlete under Coach Kamp that wasn’t too busy partying improved their times. An senior from GSU nearly made All-American in XC in her first time to Nationals. At her last job, she lacked administrative support and the athletes were still partying with their former coach. A fantastic job opportunity comes along and she takes it. Now she doesn’t have to put up with little shits that think their 19:30 5K deserves a scholarship and special treatment. Doubt anything on here is gonna make her regret the decision to move to New Orleans.
Kamp quit trying to defend yourself. You are a joke of a coach. Why don't you get your "workout hat" out and have your athletes pick an interval and a recovery time out of it to determine their workout for the day.
I am not a Kamp fan but please do get a life. What do you have to gain by bashing her. She is done. Hopefully they find someone decent. Let her get on with her life and please do so yourself.
For this thread to go on so long with such insignificant drivel is pathetic. It is wonderful how the internet gives the biggest losers on our planet an anonymous voice to bash. Didn't your mother teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it?
What is the status of this job? Any interviews yet? Are they really turning cross over to Campbell? Will Woods be promoted?

WHO at Wright state ran 19:30??!!
That is a true statement about the "workout hat." We did it a week before conf.
What happened with the "high profile Olympian" with no coaching experience that was applying?
I hear Becki Michael Ordway is the new distance coach at Wright State....

How much coaching experience does SHE have?
Oh wait, she has gender experience.
WSU website lists Christina Hill as distance coach.
Workout hat? I'll have to mention that to my assistant coach, Magic 8 Ball.
Question:
What does the future hold for Georgia State distance program?
Magic 8 Ball:
"Outlook not so good"
So, are they waiting until next fall to hire a coach?
What happened to the "high profile Olympian" who applied/interviewed for the GSU job?
Any word on coaching hire?
I understand that the asst coach has done a pretty good job of recruiting. They have at least 5 recruits committed from in-state and another Canadian. The in-state guy's PR's in the 5k range from 15:46 to low 16's. I believe the Canadian has a lower PR, but not sure.
I can hear the critiques already. "So what without coaching...."
Maybe the recruiting will help attract a new head coach.
What about any incoming women recruits?
The BIG need was for men. There's talent still there on the woman's side (a lot of injuries last year, back to coaching issues) but I do think he has one or two committed.

The head AD met with the distance athletes last week and asked their opinion on what they would like to see in their new coach and two potential new coaches (one male and one female) were put in front of the athletes too last week. Sounds like they may try to hire now between indoor and outdoor track season.
