Lets say Bolt works his way up to 80 miles per week @ 7 min/mile and goes a full year with no speed work. How fast does he go in the 100?

Does he get to use SARMS?
10.01
My guess is 10.2. Distance workouts will wreck a sprinter, just like sprint workouts will wreck a distance runner.
Do you think he would be better off doing this distance traing or doing no training at all?

Is this true? That sprint workouts will wreck a distance runner? I can definitely see the former being true, but I feel like sprinting can't hurt...

Doing strides, yeah, that's fine. But doing full on sprint training for a fortnight or two would really f*** you up
It wouldnt wreck him. As soon as he started sprint training again, he would be right back where he was. Of course, he wouldnt be as fast right away, but he would get there way faster than if he hadnt done anything at all. He could actually move in the the higher intensity stuff almost right away after a little rest. Damn people, this is letsrun, there shouldnt be this many idiots on here.
100 miles in 14 hours and 16 minutes.
this sucks
