I want a 20 week build up to a peak race, and want to average 56 mpw for that 20 week period. What should the starting mileage be, and what would the taper be?
Ex: week 1 - 40
week 2 - 45
etc.
Just curious on some thoughts here.
It's important to me that the avg. mileage be around 56 mpw for the entire season. Assume that I can start a build up from anywhere from 40 - 50 miles on week 1.
