I've run in colder weather but never been so cold in my life. Workout was a 10mi steady state run (managed about 15s off my usual pace). 4mi warmup in raincoat and windpants. Dropped the windpants as they were soaked and the raincoat (here is the fatal flaw in my logic) b/c I was already warm in it. First 5 miles were ok, until the backhalf of my loop where the wind kicked in and I was wet. As in my gloves and shoes were soaked. In the last mile I was literally counting the blocks to my house and a hot shower. I dropped everything inside my front door and stood in the shower for 20min. Happy to report that I regained feeling in all my relevant appendages.
Bring on the snow... please. Any other crappy weather run reports?
