I am a post-collegiate athlete with big goals down the road. I've been with my current coach for the last 6 years, but moved last year and am being coached long-distance. Lately, I've been questioning whether my coach is still fully invested. For example, he's been giving me "canned" workouts as of late (still, I'm not asking him to reinvent the wheel). And he is the only person (other than myself) I would trust with my training as of right now. So, the question for letsrun is:
Which is better:
a) being coached long-distance, perhaps without enthusiasm
b) coaching myself (this could get dangerous!!!)
c) other?????
