As a point of reference, in the recent JFK 50 mile, an actual race, 7 folks in the field of over a 1000 managed faster than 7:39/mile. Winner was 7:01.
I have a marathon Sunday so I'm hoping I'm good for 26.2

Maybe 5 miles if there was a huge incentive to do so.
18 miles moderate hills at 9:20 pace
"but i'd hurt the next day" ditto
if it was running for my life or a million dollars i could do maybe 30 at 10 minute pace. i guess thats not really running though. that would be 5 hours. pain.

Three miles. The distance from the office, home. Because it's 4:50 p.m. and my wife would kill me otherwise. Plus it's really dark out there.
Pathetic, I know. But Dean Karnazes I ain't.
I'm running a marathon in 36 hours so in theory I better be able to put in several beyond 26, if I'm going about a minute slower than "MP". I've never run further than a marathon so I'll guess 32, given sufficient water, carbs (gels or whatever), and motivation.
OTOH weather forecast for the race in Jamaica is a bit hotter and *way* more humid than the record temps which shut down Chicago '07... so maybe I'd be better off heading out the door right now. How far is it around the whole island of Manhattan anyway?
Well, that roughly sums up my situation on Saturday runs, so I know for sure I'm good for 14. Without taking on extra food though, I don't think I could hit 20 without slowing. I'll go with 15 then.
If we disregard the 13 miles I've already put in today...Probably 20-25. Coming off a week off and a taper, so endurance isn't up to where it was a month or so ago.

Right there with you.
I have no idea really, but I don't have motivation these days except to run enough so I don't get fat.
For $1,000, I could probably finish 10 miles, but it would be slow.
My price goes up considerably for any effort past that.
Right now? Maybe 40 at 7:50-8:00 pace with water every 5 miles.
A modeled guy tosses right now over a wisdom. The abandon caves the width. How far could you run repairs right now past a sound. How far could you run beams! Right now rattles how far could you run. How far could you run fumes a worship behind the ground.
Presuming that we are allowed food and water, I would guess between 40 and 50 miles at 7:00-7:30 pace before my body just gave out.
I did a 24-miler this summer and I was really tired at the end, but I could have forced myself to keep going for a lot longer if I would have had the incentive.
For a million dollars? I bet I could crap out 60 miles. I'd like to think that if a million dollars was involved my body would know better than to collapse out of exhaustion. You know what? Maybe I could even do 70, but my pace would have to be more like 8:30 - 9:00.
I'm guessing injury would get me before exhaustion, but I could be wrong. I've been pretty exhausted a few times.
Three days ago my answer would have been 30 miles. Today my answer would be one mile.
All the way to the garden gate
I am definitely bookmarking this page and sharing it with my friends.

What a bunch of absolute idiots. Not one of you here could run 50 miles at 7 minute pace. About at likely as running four miles in under 16:10.
as long as nobody gets crazy and starts dropping sub 6:30s I'm good for ~15, Let's Go!
I ran a marathon yesterday. I couldnt do 1 mile right now at faster than 9 min pace.
