2001, same year that I heard about Dyestat. Stayed away for a couple years because the format and discussions scared me. Came back towards the end of highschool in 2003.

A friend told me about Letsrun.com when he came down to run the Peachtree in Atlanta on July 4, 2001. I've probably written a total of <10 posts since then, but I've checked out the site at least once a week since then.

The early days was much better.
I just came across it googling some results or something five years ago, and haven't looked back. Don't have as much beef with it as some seem to!

there were times in college I would read the board for hours, it truly is an addiction, though a generally benign one, I think.
