Wow. This could be the most taboo thing ever. A professional runner posting about himself on LetsRun! Surely that has never happened before . . .
These message boards, love them or hate them, have fostered an amazing community over the years. Weldon and Robert, thank you for this amazing contribution to our sport and the running community at large.
Really this announcement is just to push a product. Any marketeer has an ulterior motivation for all their actions. Just remember that always. So stop reading now and just click this link and sign up and forget everything else I'm going to write.

Now for the back story.
is the love of my life now. The Mondo ovals of Europe were like the curvy pin-ups you drool over as a teenager. Eventually you fall out of love with Cindy Crawford because, well frankly you realize she's 20 years older than you and by the time you're ready to marry her, she'll be nearly 50! My desires have changed.
My heart has always been pulled in a million different fragmented directions. Running was never the only interest I had, but it was the only interest I pursued. I did so with the entirety of my heart. After a disappointing season I started to look for new challenges in life. The opportunity to join AirBnB 2 months ago as employee number 9 was a huge opportunity. I am excited for being presented with the challenge of growing this company and the brand into a household name.
So back to me selling you all something . . .
The Lets Run community is global. Imagine the next time you travel to Italy and Renato Canova rents out his extra space to you? Wow, now you can ask him all the physiology mumbo jumbo you can dream up. (So, first, we all need to hope Renato reads this post and clicks here:

and rents his extra space to the traveling Letsrun.com-ers). I'll leave it to you guys to push him to rent his space to this community.
You can all make some extra money renting your space to the Lets Run community world-wide. From a couch, to an air mattress, or even your entire Tuscan Villa. Or Geb's palace? Maybe I can get him to put his hotels up on AirBnB? We'll see.
I'll try and get some other pro runners to put their places up for rent to the Lets Run community. The next time you travel to Eugene, you can rent a room for a night from Nick Symmonds. I'm sure he won't mind my volunteering his space. This is an entirely new concept for us and I'm in charge of launching it. I'm starting with you all! The pages will be updated soon with a new design. I think by the end of the week. What you see now is the hacked together version. It'll look better soon.
Make me look good!
Travel with your tribe.
