Hansons has some good perks that guys coming out of college and do not have the best times can take advantage of to extend and realize their potential where otherwise they might not run after school. The training seems pretty solid with regards to volume but it is not at altitude. It seems that they do run on trails but doesn't seem like there are a lot of trails which probably means the roads. The winters can be tough due to the cold and snow.
Farm Team has some great talent. They do not live in a house provided by the sponsers to what I can recall. Coaching/support staff is big named but has not gotten the results most would expect. Great area to train in from what I have read, trails, tracks, weather is nice most of the year. There have been some big performances from this group though. This team seems like they get together for runs and workouts and that is it, am I wrong?
Vigil's group has a well established coach who has gotten great results in the past. Altitude and a some what secluded area to train from what I am told, great place for live high/ train low philosophy. Some high caliber runners are running there, give them time. This is not a place for guys coming right out of college with good times, need great times probably, if any to get in.
NOP has some great gadgets that may help and have great funding it seems like. The runners are pretty darn good and have great areas to train in, trails baby, weather seems pretty good year round. They have big expectations placed on them though, may make it difficult if they listen or read these boards. Alberto Salazar has been there, maybe he can get them there, maybe not.
Just some thoughts, wanted to keep this topic going and see if we could get out alot of the positives, sorry if I had any negatives.
