Mammoth Track Club was formed in 2008. What medals were earned in Beijing? In 2004 Meb and Deena earned medals as members of Team USA California. Joe Vigil was the head coach. PLEASE DO NOT GROUP THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF ONE CLUB WITH ANOTHER.

run_for_free,
BK ran up to 140 miles a week in the winter before he set his American records, so calling hima high quality low mileage guy is completely incorrect.

Although he wasn't running that kind of mileage under Sam Bell, he also didn't have the success he had once he ramped up the mileage under Kim. He was a 3:39 1500 runner and exceptional cross country runner. That is a far cry from 7:30 and 12:58, which was the result of both mileage and quality. The best in the world have a talent for running both quantity and quality... not one or the other.
Also, as has been noted, Bauhs isn't even at altitude. He has been training largely in California at sea-level.

YAWN. The club just changed its name, the personnel remains the same. Are you really that obtuse?

Absolutly untrue. The coaching has changed significantly. Things are completely different from the original group. This group is far more middle distance oriented.
Oh big deal. Yeah, that's so "completely different." Jesus H. Christ.
Everybody on here talking shit about Bauhs is jealous of what he's got. Ok so it wasn't a perfect year but he's on the right track and I bet you next year in track y'all are gonna be biting your tongues.
Please learn about running, thanks.

Oh, and GFY.
It clearly won't be from the likes of you. So thanks for nothing. And I wouldn't insist that you do the same and attempt what's clearly impossible for you. Have a nice life.
