Otherwise, you become A) the funny FRIEND[b/][i/][u/] or B) an annoying little shit that gets old really fast, or you get perceived as C) a whiny little pussy who no one wants to be around (if all the jokes are self-deprecating). A good joke is a good ice-breaker and tension-breaker and mood-setter at the beginning of the encounter. It is not the whole conversation. I bring up this warning because I had a friend who was all jokes all the time in every situation. It was fun in high school and such. And at parties, among groups of people/friends, he could bring the house down occasionally. But, he never had a girlfriend because of it. He ran off other friends because of it. Outside of social situations, he moaned and whined about not being able to get a girlfriend. He just didn't know when to STOP. After he started pissing off people at my f-ing wedding, including my wife's family, we are no longer friends.

When a girl regularly laughs at your jokes, it is possibly an indication that she feels comfortable around you. This does not necessarily equate to sexual attraction, however. Like the earlier poster mentioned, kino escalation is key because it can demonstrates sexual interest without being sleazy or forward. Now, it definitely has the potential to be both sleazy AND forward, but not when executed properly. Yes. Being funny does increase your sex appeal. I've been at least moderately attracted to guys I wouldn't pick on just looks alone, because they're hilarious and a lot of fun to be around. * You can run attraction to the end of time but find that the girl never fully commits to you, but lets you entertain her until the guy she really connects with comes along. This establishes right from the start that you are confident, sexual, and have intent, and rewards her for being the woman who is deserving of that attention (for right now).

* You are a high-value guy and finding that you come on too strong for some girls and overgame them without even realizing it. This will get them smiling and comfortable and let them relax and appreciate your interest.

* You are super-advanced and want to see just how basic you can break it down. This can make the game ridiculously easy now that you have internalized all the lessons of value and fun and the potential for great intimacy and sexual fulfillment you have to offer.

Seriously. Any one. Any time. Any where. I challenge you to come up with a scenario where this will not open.

I think of this as three yards and a cloud of dust. It's not the flashy aerial attack, and you may never break free and take it straight to the house with this one, but you'll always gain positive yardage.

Here's something else to keep in mind. I've read other approaches similar to this which take the same idea, but leave it a little more open to interpretation. I think it is critical that the compliment itself be as subtle and as nourishing as possible. I've tested this with telling a woman that she is gorgeous, or lovely, or stunning, but I've never found anything that gets as consistenly positive and comfortable responses as cute. I think there's some deep psychology and subtle social cue stuff at work here.

If you tell a woman you do not know how beautiful she is, she takes that compliment as an offering to her altar. She may appreciate it, but all it says about you is that you are a man who notices beautiful women. And for some women, those who are not totally comfortable with their own beauty (especially those who's self image does not map to their appearance), this compliment actually confuses them, and makes them very defensive. They react as if they are waiting for the punchline, like when they were plain and unlovely back in grade school and some asshole kid wrote her a valentine and then laughed at her with all his asshole friends when she confessed her crush on him.

You are not an asshole. You are a man. A man notices things about women that the assholes don't, and understands what is most important to women. What is most important to them is NOT to be beautiful, or stunning, or hot, or spectacular, or any other bullshit come-on they've already heard. What matters most to them, what they dream of every night, is that someone cares for them. Someone will protect them. Nurture them. Hold them close and enjoy them for who they are: a cute girl.

All women want to be loved like little sisters, true, but there's a deeper level.

Here's a truism in our culture… The frame – or underlying meaning – of a man approaching a woman is that she is the Prize he is trying to win her over.

In plain English – the woman has more value than the man.

If you want to become a ladies' man, you've got to proactively do or say something in every interaction you have with a woman that changes the frame from her being the Prize to you being the Prize.

First of all, this girl was dressed to nines. She mentioned going to an Ivy League college. It was obvious that she didn't grow up in a trailer or mobile home. She knew I was joking around with her.

Second… I said this to her in a sarcastic tone.

Thus… I got away with setting a very strong frame because I added a ton of humor.

She didn't perceive my comment as mean or manipulative.

Instead she saw it as charming and attractive and felt compelled to banter back.

Yet she still wanted to take back control of the frame (Though she found me charming and attractive, she wanted to get back her status as the Prize).

However… she couldn't think of a comeback.

So she touched my arm.

“Why?” you might be wondering.

Most women intuitively know… one of the fastest ways to take back control of being the Prize is to touch a man… because…

Most men think that when a woman touches them it means she's interested.

Many a man takes the bait by sticking his dirty little paws all over her.

She pulls back and – voilà – she's regained her status as the Prize the guy is desperately trying to win over.

But when you refrain from touching a woman and frame her touching you as meaning she's blatantly coming onto you, like I did in the example above, you maintain your status as the Prize she's trying to win over.

As a general rule: I usually don't touch a woman until she's touched me two to three times. If you give in after the first touch, you risk the frame reversing back to her being the Prize.

But after she's touched you several times, you can touch her back without losing the frame that you're the Prize.

So let's recap: When you're verbally bantering back-and-forth with a woman and she cannot think of a comeback or she realizes that you've outwitted her, she will invariably reach over and touch you. It's a sneaky attempt regaining her status as the Prize.
