Add 1.6 seconds to 1600 meter marks. A mile is longer than 1600 meters.

It was the AL state record until Hoover's Patrick McGregor ran 4:07.07 at the Midwest Distance Gala in IL this past summer.
Bolt is the only AL high schoolers to go on to break for 4:00 (3:59.4). Three others have also run under 3:42.22 for 1500 which converts to sub 4:00 for a Mile (1.08 factor).
3:41.2 Eddie Terrell, Mountain Brook HS, 1988 grad
3:41.65 EC Gibbs, Cullman HS, 2005 grad
3:42.10 Randy Stephens, Woodlawn HS, 1978 grad
4:08.97
Bay Area, California
jsully is THE MAN on records.
I saw Bolt's 4:07.4. Still the Florida Relays high school record.
Another school record: 4:08.3 Billy Convey - Ransom Everglades, Miami 2nd at Golden West in 1983 - behind John Carlotti of NJ in 4:08.1 (just to save sully the trouble)
Bolt still has the FL Relays mile record; Convey still holds the 2 mile record: 8:57.5 in 1983 (ahead of Brian Jaeger of Winter Park in 8:57.8)

It was 4:29 at the time I was in high school. Don't think anyone's ran faster since. I would've had this if my coach wasn't obsessed with running me in the 4 by 8 and 800 every meet and only in the mile a few times my senior year as I ran 4:04 in the 1500 when I got to college.
