Viren used steroids to help him win, just go and read the book! This is THE TRUTH
So what if Viren used steroids etc.? I am hear to tell the truth about Arthur Lydiard´s lies, not anything else. Got it?
Show us the lie or shut the f*ck up.
Note image of Vasala doing hill bounding in Auckland, New Zealand. Lydiard did coach him at times, and he coached his coaches.

i think i thee whath you're thaying

Maybe so, but he wasn´t his coach.
Get the book of Pekka Vasala and shut the f*ck up.

By the actions of few? Do you mean me? Is telling the truth a crime?

No, the onus is on you, the accuser, to produce the evidence.
I pass the sending of my book to you.
the truth: wrote:

You want me to send your book to myself? That makes no sense.
Also, have others have already stated, just because Vasala claims something does not make it so. Show us the video clip in question or a transcript, or just shut up because you're talking about comments which may or may not have happened.
I meant that I skip that sending of my book to you.
I choose "shut up" from your list because I don´t have video clips etc. So goodbye to you "shit just got real".
the truth: wrote:

Then you don't have evidence Lydiard ever said this. Goodbye.
If that's your new point, we still don't know what Lydiard said in this alleged TV interview. We only know that you said that Vasala said, in his 1975 book, that Lydiard lied on TV. By your own simple standard, if you were to exaggerate this double-hearsay as the truth, that makes you a liar. But in any event, is it a lie to claim that Lydiard coached Viren and Vasala? Let's think this through. After all, athletes can have more than one coach. I took your advice for English lessons to heart, and consulted another book of truths, the English Dictionary:lecture:v. deliver a discourse before an audience (especially one that is instructive);n. discourse given before an audience (especially one that is instructive);coach:v. train, teach, instruct n. athletic trainer; tutor, teacher train:v. instruct, coach instruct:v. teach, educate, inform; direct, guide; command, order teach:v. instruct; educateeducate:v. instruct, teach, train By your own admission, Lydiard just gave lectures to the Finns. Presumably Lydiard gave instructive lectures (rather than scolding or reprimanding), teaching his training method and principles to the Finns. If Vasala and Viren were the recipients of these teachings, then by definition, that makes Lydiard their coach, regardless of what Haikkola and Sinkkonen were doing.Do you claim that Viren and Vasala were not taught, instructed, educated, tutored, informed, directed, or guided by Lydiard's lectures? These are not my own ideas. I'm just repeating truths I read in a book.

Stop splitting hairs.
It does not matter would Vasala and Viren succeeded without Lydiard, the point is that Lydiard lied. You seem to undirectly claim that Lydiard after all was the coach for our boys? Then you are a liar too. The coach for Lasse Viren was Rolf Haikkola, and Vasala´s coach was Kari Sinkkonen. Viren´s/Haikkola´s training system was very much different than Lydiard´s, by the way.
Correction, I have the evidence, you don´t have.
scroll to the bottom and read the comments regarding the finns and lydiard's influence.

My NEW point?
No, like I have said and even showed the training of Viren, the training system he used is not close to Lydiards. Vasala´s training was very close though but it doesn´t mean that Lydiard was his coach. It just isn´t the truth that Lydiard was THE COACH for Viren, Vasala, Kantanen and Vaatainen like he said according to Pekka Vasala.
Thanks from the lecture but I don´t need that.
Did I questioned Lydiard´s influence in Finland? No, I even gave a credit for him like you can read from this thread.

That settles it.
Lydiard wrote, “(Viren) still sends me a card every Christmas and gives me the credit for his great successes, but I never trained him. I coached his coach to do that.’
The truth just got owned.
